Through Us: Missions
Jesus’ Heartbeat Through Us: Missions
![]() |
We believe that nothing puts a person or church more in sync with the heartbeat of Jesus than reaching out to people who don’t yet know him. Someday, all of creation will be taken up in God’s praise and, in the meantime, we want to get the Good News out to as many people, in as may ways, as we can. |
Missions Program
God always sends a missionary. When Jesus called his followers “Go into all the world...,” he was only asking us to do what he himself did when the Father sent him into the world (Matthew 28:19-20, John 3:16). At First Covenant we are committed to both supporting and sending missionaries.
Our missions program is financially supported by missions “shares.” Once a year, we invite members of our church family to decide before God how many shares they plan by faith to give. The prayer support is ongoing.
Our Missionary Family
First Covenant seeks to support a variety of people and organizations worldwide. We partner with those serving in denominational, faith, and parachurch ministries. They touch lives locally, nationally, internationally, and even countries closed to outside missionaries. In Jesus’ name, they reach out to people in body and soul, through compassion and Gospel.
