How You Can Be a Missionary

Actually, if you are a believer, you are already called to be a missionary where you are. Just about anything a missionary does in foreign fields you can do at home. Still, God may be calling you to another place. Here are some options for now.

Pray for one or more missionaries on a daily basis. (Find and use our brochure “How to Pray for a Missionary |

|
Write a brief missions article the LoveGram.

|
•
|
Take a short-term mission trip with the church. |
|
•
|
Organize a short-term mission trip within the church. |
|
•
|
Explore long-term missions by talking to others “in-the-know,” going to Urbana, etc. |
|
|
•
|
In faith, financially contribute to the Missions Fund. Each year, we hold a Missions Conference including a chance to support one or more missionaries by pledging to pay for “Shares.” |
|
•
|
Regularly communicate with one or more missionary-exchanging e-mails or letters. And share the responses with the church. |
|
•
|
Join or help the missions committee. |
